Scott is a leading expert in the insurance industry. With over 25 years of experience in insurance and wellness, Scott brings strong leadership and has a proven track record in working with his clients. Scott uses his vast experience to work with his clients to provide them with the best solutions and service possible. Following two years with the MONY Group, he started his own insurance agency, Scott Leavitt Insurance & Financial Services out of Boise, Idaho. Scott has been quoted widely on health care, insurance and wellness in several media publications including; The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, INC Magazine, Fox Business, Kiplingers Business, MSN, Money Magazine , Bankrate.com, Yahoo Finance, Business Week and the Spokesman Review . He has also been quoted in the following insurance trade publications; Agent's Sales Journal , Benefit Selling, Employee Benefit Advisor, The Health Insurance Underwriter, Health Plan Week, Life Insurance Selling, The National Underwriter & Advisor Today. He has appeared on Television, WSJ Radio , National Public Radio , Northwest Public Radio and on other radio stations across the Country. Scott is a sought after speaker at conferences around the country and has also testified numerous times before Lawmakers. Scott is married to his wife Amy and has 4 kids & 4 grandkids.
Scott has spent most of his career serving his industry. He is a Past President of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) in 2008-2009, was the 2010-2011 & 1999-2000 President of IAHU and currently serves on the NAHU Education Foundation. Scott has sat on the Idaho DOI Continuing Education committee and licensing committee. Scott is a former Region 7 vice president for NAHU. While NAHU Region 6 membership chair, he guided the region to the NAHU Cup. Prior to that, he was the President of the NAIFA-Boise in 2001 to 2002.
Scott has been honored with the NAIFA-Boise "Edward F. Glennon Award of Excellence for Lifetime Achievement" in 2005, the Idaho AHU "Dave Isern Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2000 and in 2010 was presented with the "Scott Leavitt Service Award" by the Idaho AHU. He has received the Landmark Award, the NAHU State Legislative Achievement Award, the Triple Crown Award and the NAHU Distinguished Service Award.

Preston is born and raised in Idaho. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2013-2015 preaching in both English and Spanish.He has attended BYU and is currently attending Boise State University pursing a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management. Preston believes in serving those around him and doing the best thing and is an Eagle Scout. He is excited to helps his clients with their insurance & planning needs. He is a huge sports fan and loves the Denver Broncos, the Seattle Mariners and of course the Boise State Broncos.
